Atlanta-Ga.---The Clark Atlanta University men's track and field team finishes ninth in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Championship held at B.T. Harvey Stadium on the campus of Morehouse College Saturday.

Senior fielder Jordan August provided the highest finish for the Panthers in a field or running event with fourth place in the shotput  while Mike Kelly recorded sixth in the hammer throw. Juan Cartledge added a seventh place finish in the Steeplechase competition and fifth in the 1,500 meter run which was the only running event that the Panthers qualified for besides the 4x400 relay after the preliminary rounds. 

"We will look to rebound and improve next year after a disappointing finish," said CAU Head Coach Pamela Page.
