Four Lady Panthers Receive Track and Field All-Region Honors

ATLANTA, Ga. – Four Clark Atlanta University women’s track and field team members are among 74 runners and fielders from the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) who have been named to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field All-South Region Team by The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Ashley Ellis led the way for the Lady Panthers on the All-Region team who claimed CAU’s sole conference championship with her first place finish in the pole vault. Other honorees were Jonae Prince-Coleman and Tabia Wade in the Heptathlon and Markeisha Woodson in the 10000m run who also placed second in that event at the conference championship.
